What's on this week

Collect:

Sovereign God, who called the entire church to be the body of Christ, grant us courage to affirm our faith in one Body and in one Baptism. As we are baptized into the body of Christ, help us to realize your transformative power which enables us to build an ecumenical community around us. May our baptism experience continue to affect us bringing revival and renewal within us to be the vibrant channels of unity, justice, and peace through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and theHoly Spirit, one God now and ever. Amen

MAKE A DONATION - BUILD A FOUNDATION

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you" - Luke 6 : 38

The Melbourne CSI Church is currently using the premises at the St Matthews Anglican Church, Ashburton for its regular worship, Sunday School and other activities of the Church. This is based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed between our Church, St Matthews Church and the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne. Over the last few years, our Church developed a vision to invest in a residential property.

Our Sunday worship attendance is growing steadily and now we have on an average 85 believers regularly attending the service. About 35 children are attending the Sunday School classes. In the future we will need to have a place of our own for worship and a place for our Sunday School. The investment we make by purchasing a residential property can be used as the base fund for purchasing a permanent place of worship.

We have a goal of buying a piece of land and build a residential property or buy an established residential property which can accommodate our needs. We are appealing to you to make a generous donation to our building fund. No amount is too small, for every donation makes a difference to our funds. We believe the Holy Spirit will encourage you to consider contributing to this project. We also believe that God will reward you abundantly for it.

We thank you for your support and generosity towards this project. Please do not hesitate to contact the Church Treasurer regarding further information on donations.

Donations can be transferred directly through internet banking to the building fund.
